Biography
Christian Luckstadt received his Masters degree in fisheries science from the Humboldt University in Berlin in 1996. In 2004 he obtained his Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Hohenheim University, Stuttgart. During his Ph. D. studies he spent two years as a visiting scientist at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Centre – Aquaculture Department in the Philippines. He subsequently worked as a product manager for an Austrian company between 2003 and 2007. During that period he was giving technical support on the use of acidifiers in pig, poultry and aquaculture. Since 2007 he is an R&D Manager at ADDCON GmbH, responsible, next to others, for product development on acidifiers in animal nutrition – and currently heading the department “R&D feed - monogastricsâ€. Christian is the sole editor of the books “Acidifiers in Animal Nutrition†as well as “Standards for Acidifiers†and has published numerous articles in that field.
