Biography
Mohamed Ahmed Tony is the Associate Professor of Poultry and Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University, Egypt. He was appreciated with Scientific Mission award from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for Ph.D. in the field of Poultry and Animal Nutrition at Federal Agricultural Research Centre (FAL), Braunschweig, Germany in the year 2000. He serves as a member of DAAD scientific committee since 2009 till the present time. He has published various articles in the field of Animal Nutrition in prestigious journals. His recent publication was on the topic ‘Effects of coated sodium butyrate as a feed additive on zootechnical performance, immune status and Salmonella Enteritidis shedding after experimental infection of broiler chickens’.
