Biography
Maria Ulfah finished her Magister degree in animal physiology and nutrition science from Georg- August-Göttingen University, Germany in 2003. She received her PhD in animal bioscience from Graduate School of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Indonesia. Since 2009 she has been working as lecturer at the Division of Poultry Production and Technology, Faculty of Animal Science, IPB. Her research activities are focused on poultry science, mainly related to conservation biology and development of local poultry stocks. Galliformes evolution and establishment of poultry breeds (lines) based on chicken genome repertoires and specific quantitative traits are also some of her research topics focused on.
