Biography
Bob Orskov has worked with many international organisations including FAO, IAEA, DFID EU and ILRI in project identification and evaluation in the area of feed resource management and rural development with emphasis on livestock nutrition. He worked for many years at the Rowett Research Institute in Aberdeen and more recently in the James Hutton Institute Aberdeen.The International Feed Resource laboratory provided appropriate training to support the projects. He has worked in many countries in Asia, including Indonesia, Mongolia, China, India, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Syria, Iran and Turkey. In Africa including Egypt, Tunisia,Cameroon Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria and Ghana, in South America including Cuba, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile and also in Eastern Europe including Poland, Czeck Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. He has published 5 books and author or co-author of over 600 scientific papers and popular articles on nutrition and feed resource management.

Biography
Thomas Blaha is a professor at University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Foundation Field Station for Epidemiology, Germany.
Thomas Blaha is also Founder, Vice-President and President-Elect of the European College of Porcine Health, Management (ECPHM) since 2003.
Thomas Blaha is a President of the German “Veterinary Animal Welfare Association†since 2007.
Thomas Blaha also served as a President of the International Society of Animal Hygiene (ISAH) from 2005 to 2010 and Member of the EBVS (European Board of Veterinary Specialisation) Executive Board from 2012 to 2014.

Research and teaching of veterinary public health, food safety “from farm to tableâ€, Good Veterinary Practice (GVP), animal health and epidemiology in the area of food animals.
Development of animal-oriented animal welfare indicators at herd and slaughterhouse level.
Involvement in the development of the German monitoring system for measuring the antibiotic use in pig production.
