Bob Orskov has worked with many international organisations including FAO, IAEA, DFID EU and ILRI in project identification and evaluation in the area of feed resource management and rural development with emphasis on livestock nutrition. He worked for many years at the Rowett Research Institute in Aberdeen and more recently in the James Hutton Institute Aberdeen.The International Feed Resource laboratory provided appropriate training to support the projects. He has worked in many countries in Asia, including Indonesia, Mongolia, China, India, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Syria, Iran and Turkey. In Africa including Egypt, Tunisia,Cameroon Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria and Ghana, in South America including Cuba, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile and also in Eastern Europe including Poland, Czeck Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. He has published 5 books and author or co-author of over 600 scientific papers and popular articles on nutrition and feed resource management.

Isabelle Kalmar holds a degree in veterinary medicine and in laboratory animal sciences. She completed a PhD in veterinary medicine on the topic of nutrition and feeding behavior of pet birds, and performed postdoctoral studies in immunology at Ghent University. She completed a second PhD in the field of nutrition related metabolic diseases in broilers, obtained at the department of Animal Sciences of Wageningen University. She is the senior veterinary scientist at VEOS group, a producer of animal-based food and feed ingredients with focus on plasma proteins. She has published over 30 papers in reputable journals.

Christian Luckstadt received his Masters degree in fisheries science from the Humboldt University in Berlin in 1996. In 2004 he obtained his Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Hohenheim University, Stuttgart. During his Ph. D. studies he spent two years as a visiting scientist at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Centre – Aquaculture Department in the Philippines. He subsequently worked as a product manager for an Austrian company between 2003 and 2007. During that period he was giving technical support on the use of acidifiers in pig, poultry and aquaculture. Since 2007 he is an R&D Manager at ADDCON GmbH, responsible, next to others, for product development on acidifiers in animal nutrition – and currently heading the department “R&D feed - monogastrics”. Christian is the sole editor of the books “Acidifiers in Animal Nutrition” as well as “Standards for Acidifiers” and has published numerous articles in that field.

Mohamed Ahmed Tony is the Associate Professor of Poultry and Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University, Egypt. He was appreciated with Scientific Mission award from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for Ph.D. in the field of Poultry and Animal Nutrition at Federal Agricultural Research Centre (FAL), Braunschweig, Germany in the year 2000. He serves as a member of DAAD scientific committee since 2009 till the present time. He has published various articles in the field of Animal Nutrition in prestigious journals. His recent publication was on the topic ‘Effects of coated sodium butyrate as a feed additive on zootechnical performance, immune status and Salmonella Enteritidis shedding after experimental infection of broiler chickens’.

A.Z.M. Salem had his PhD in 2002 from Faculty of Veterinary, Leon University, Spain. Now he is working as a Professor –Researcher at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, Mexico. He is specialist in Ruminant Nutrition and working with using the tree leaves extracts, exogenous enzymes, yeasts, …. As feed additives in animal nutrition. Dr. Salem has a lot of research papers published in ELSEVIER, SpringerLink, Wiley, … with some text books as well as registered patents in his field of research. He is currently in the editorial board of two international indexed journals in the JCR with impact factor (Journal of Integrative agriculture and Animal Nutrition and Feed technology) and he is a reviewer in a lot of scientific international journals.

Amlan Patra earned his PhD in 2004 from Indian Veterinary Research Institute in Animal Nutrition. He worked at American Institute for Goat Research, USA as a Post-doctoral Research Associate and at The Ohio State University, USA through a BOYSCAST fellowship from India. He joined West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences as Assistant Professor in 2007. He has authored over 80 articles and edited a Springer book. He has served on the Editorial Board of the journal Animal Feed Science and Technology and currently is an Editor, as well as being the Review Editor of Frontiers in Microbiology.
